With over 25 years of teaching experience, Joel Simpson is a seasoned musical mentor. Growing up in a musically inclined family, Joel delved into guitar, singing, and songwriting at an early age. His profound passion for music led him to pursue a degree in music business at Elmhurst University. In 2001, Joel ventured into being fully self-employed as a musician.

Joel’s time is dedicated to a dynamic mix of private instruction, production work, and live performances. Proficient in various string instruments, including guitar, mandolin, bass, and ukulele, Joel possesses the unique ability to bring out the best in his students.
